Ein Asynchronmotor basiert auf elektromagnetischer Induktion. Durch das rotierende Magnetfeld des Stators werden Str\u00f6me im Rotor induziert. Dadurch wird wiederum ein Magnetfeld erzeugt. Dieses Magnetfeld ist langsamer als das Magnetfeld des Stators.
