We welcome Simon Stumpf as our new Managing Director
We welcome Simon Stumpf to the management of our companies INRO Elektrotechnik GmbH and INRO ETMS GmbH as of 1 February 2025. After more than 30 years, the management team will be expanded to include the previous managing directors and owners of INRO, Barbara and Michael Ries.
This is the owners' response to the company's steady growth and the changing challenges on the market. The topics of sustainability, automation and innovation in particular will continue to play a central role in the direction of INRO Elektrotechnik GmbH.
Simon Stumpf has been with INRO Elektrotechnik GmbH for five years and most recently successfully headed up the Marketing & Sales department. He answered three questions to mark the start of his new role as Managing Director:
Question 1: In your opinion, what characterises INRO?
For me, INRO Elektrotechnik GmbH is characterised in particular by its combination of tradition and innovation. The company has been operating successfully in the materials handling industry for over 30 years and has developed from there into a comprehensive, strategic technology partner for professional electronics solutions. INRO offers development and production from a single source in the centre of Germany and focuses on high-quality products in the field of power electronics and sustainable mobility.
As a medium-sized company with regional ties, INRO attaches great importance to humanity and personal relationships. We still "know each other" here, and this is reflected both in our dealings with each other and in our cooperation with our customers.
This combination of many years of experience, technological progress and a personal atmosphere makes the company special for me, as the opportunities for further development and the potential for innovation are optimally utilised here and create an inspiring environment for creative work and continuous growth.
Question 2: What moments at INRO have had a particular impact on you?
At INRO, I have been particularly influenced by the numerous joint successes for our customers, where we have achieved outstanding results as a team. These joint successes not only demonstrate the expertise of each individual, but also the strength of cooperation within the company. We pull together and find the optimum solution for our customers.
We also experience these moments of cohesion at joint celebrations and events such as our summer party. These events not only strengthen the team spirit, but also create a pleasant atmosphere in which we get to know each other better - an absolute advantage for us in the SME sector.
Question 3: What are your expectations of yourself in this new role?
It is important to me to work together with all INRO employees on the further development of the company in a continuous, sustainable and future-oriented manner in order to fulfil the requirements of the position and contribute to the success of the company.
Another important aspect is to continue to communicate with our customers and partners on an equal footing. I want to maintain trusting and transparent communication in order to develop and build long-term relationships and realise successful projects together for everyone.
