Technological milestone for INRO and the entire industrial truck industry

In the more than 30 years of INRO's company history, we have already developed and manufactured many different products. Some of these products are no longer produced today, for example because they have been replaced by other products or their successors. However, this does not make these products any less important.

Whilst sorting through the archive, one of our oldest control systems came to light. A product that not only represented a technological milestone for us, but also for the entire industrial truck industry.

With this product, the CAN bus was introduced as a later standard for the commercial vehicle world. In simple terms, a CAN bus is a system for data transmission between several participants via a common transmission path. The advantage of this is that a CAN bus reduces the number of wiring harnesses in the vehicles, as there is a common transmission path and a single cable is not required for everything.

This system was developed and used in the automotive industry. With our adaptation, it then found its way into the industrial truck industry, where it has been the standard for data transmission for decades.

Even though our control systems have become even more complex nowadays, the topic of "innovation, setting standards and being at the forefront of technology" is more topical than ever. At INRO, we want to help shape things, drive technology forward and be pioneers for our customers. This is what we have stood for for over 30 years.
