Your tasks
As a specialist in motor control and drive technology, you support our drive solutions from the initial measurements through to the successful qualification. In doing so, you combine development work with practical work in the laboratory and on the test bench. Your duties include:
Commissioning, characterisation and qualification of new motors and drive systems
Care and maintenance of existing software
Analysis and optimisation of current, speed and position controls
Development and optimisation of control and identification algorithms for electrical machines
Execution, evaluation and documentation of measurements in laboratory and test field environments
Analysis of control dynamics, losses and thermal behaviour
Support with troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem solving during development, testing and production
Close collaboration with hardware, firmware, test and systems engineering
Support with the selection and introduction of new motor and sensor technologies
Derivation of technical requirements for future product generations
Your profile
Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in the field of electric drives, motor control and power electronics
Knowledge of electronics and low-level programming of microcontrollers, particularly in C/C++
Good knowledge of electrical machines and their control methods
Safe handling of measuring and diagnostic equipment
Experience in laboratory, test bench or commissioning environments
Structured, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
Very good command of written and spoken German and English

Flexible working hours with a 40-hour week (core time: Mon - Thu 09:30 - 15:00, Fri 09:30 - 14:00)
