LEAN MANAGEMENT AT INRO

Success story of shop floor meetings

Lean management has become firmly established at INRO in recent years and is already practised in many areas. The management approach to optimising processes and reducing waste has contributed to greater efficiency in the production process.

In addition to Kanban cards, shadow boards, colour coding and many other measures, shop floor meetings have also become an indispensable tool for our work.

Shop floor meetings are meetings that are held directly at the production site (the shop floor). Current production data, key figures and challenges are discussed in real time. Production is optimised directly at the point of value creation.

In order to be able to hold these meetings on an ongoing basis with a positive outcome, it is particularly important to constantly reflect on whether the topics discussed remain relevant. Especially when communicating directly on site, new topics and tasks always come into focus that need to be addressed.

The shop floor meetings at INRO are therefore constantly being developed and actively used to further optimise the various areas of production. Our employees appreciate the direct communication and problems and their solutions are discussed directly.

We will continue to work on further developing the shop floor meetings in order to achieve continuous benefits for the company and our employees.
