For over 30 years, INRO in Stockstadt am Main in the centre of the FrankfurtRhineMain metropolitan region has been producing control systems and drive solutions that reliably set systems and machines in motion. Industrial trucks, construction machinery and pump systems are just a few examples where our solutions ensure that everything runs safely, precisely and efficiently every day. With around 150 employees, we realise all steps from the initial idea to series production directly at our site in Stockstadt am Main. In our team, people of different ages, experiences and nationalities work together on well thought-out products. In this way, new solutions for demanding applications are constantly being created, in which we utilise the latest technology. Short decision-making processes and regional ties characterise our daily work.
Your tasks
As a working student in purchasing, you will support our team in day-to-day operations while gaining insights into the procurement of technical items for our electronic products. You will assist us in particular with orders placed via online shops, tracking delivery dates, and handling administrative tasks relating to the purchasing process. In doing so, you will work closely with our buyers and related departments such as development, production, and logistics. Your responsibilities will include the following activities:
- You will support our purchasing team in the operational procurement of technical items and consumables.
- You place orders via online shops and supplier portals, paying attention to prices, availability and delivery times.
- You keep an eye on open orders and reliably chase up delivery dates.
- You maintain and update purchasing-related data in our systems.
- You assist with communication with suppliers, for example with queries regarding availability, delivery dates or order confirmations.
- Where necessary, you will assist with minor research, evaluations, and organisational tasks in purchasing.
Your profile
- You are an enrolled student in a technical or business-related degree programme, for example industrial engineering, electrical engineering, business administration with a technical focus or a comparable degree programme.
- Ideally, you bring initial experience with electronics, technical components or procurement topics.
- You work carefully, in a structured manner and keep track of things even with multiple open orders.
- You are proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
- You enjoy familiarising yourself with new systems, online shops and supplier portals.
- Good command of German as well as a reliable and team-oriented approach round off your profile.

- Hourly wage from €14.00 to €16.00, depending on prior experience
